The movie will feature a pre- view of the 1956 Winter Olympics at Cortina D'Ampezzo, Italy. The village of Cortina, the skating rinks, the lifts, the downhill course and the beautiful snow of the Ital- ian Alps are all shown. Miller also incorporates humor and wit, fun and excitement in his presentation as he includes workouts of members of the Ameri- can ski teams in the deep powder snow and icy slalom trails at the Reno. Ski Bowl and Sun Valley. Slow Motion Studies Many slow motion studies of the techniques of Miller's brother, Ralph, Buddy Werner, Tom Cor- coran, Skeeter Werner and Katy Rodolph will further illustrate what the Americans have to offer in the way of competition at Cor- tina this winter. The film has action shots of Stein Ericson, three time world champion slalom skier who is now an instructor at Boyne Mountain, ti the Dartmouth Winter Carnival p and beginning skiers. An added attraction of the film is pictures of surf riding 30-foot a waves in Hawaii at 50 miles per c' hour. The surf shots were made s by Miller on his way home from s Peru where he had witnessed his s brother Ralph ski downhill at 109 miles per hour, breaking the world speed record.
