28, 1936: "Students shall pay all ac-
counts due the University not later
than the last day of classes of each se-
mester or summer session. Student loans
which are not paid or renewed are
subject to this regulation; however,
student loans not yet due are exempt.
Any unpaid accounts at the close of
business on the last day of classes will
be reported to the Cashier of the Uni-
versity and
"(a) All academic credits will be with-
held, the grades for the semester or
summer session just completed will not
be released, and no transcript of credits
will be issued.
"(b) All students owing such accounts
will not be allowed to register in any
subsequent semester or summer session
until payment has been made."
Commencement Instructions to Fac-
ulty Members: Convene at 4:15 p.m. in
the first floor lobby in Administration
Building; buses will be provided in
front of the Administration Building
to take you to the Stadium or Yost
Field House to join procession and to
take the place assigned to you on
stage, as directed by Marshals; at the
end of the exercises, buses will be ready
in driveway east of the Stadium or at
west side of Field House to bring you
back to the campus.
Professional and social fraternity
houses may remain open for the sum-
mer session if there are at least ten
men living in the house. If the ten
men are all members of the fraternity,
one of them may be appointed summer
president in charge. If any of the ten
men are not members of the frater-
nity, the man in charge must be a
graduate student approved by the Of-
fice of the Dean of Men. There will be
no exceptions.
According to University Regulations
"no fraternity or sorority shall be al-
lowed to open if, on July 1 of any year,
its unpaid accounts receivable from the
members active at any time during the
college year just ended exceed a total
of $200.00 or its unpaid accounts pay-
able for the immediately preceeding
years exceed $500.00." Certification that
that rule has been complied with should
be sent in letter form to the Office of
the Dean of Men by the treasurer and
the alumni financial adviser by July 1.
FACULTY MEMBERS AND
UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES:
The Board in Control of Intercollegi-
ate Athletics of the University of Mich-
igan extends to the Faculty and to full-
time University employees the privi-
lege to purchase Athletic Cards.
Those Eligible To Purchase:
1. University Faculty and Adminis-
trative Officers.
2. Faculty members who have been
retired, but still retain faculty privi-
leges.
3. Employees on the University pay-
roll who have appointments or con-
tracts on a full-time yearly basis; or, if
on an hourly basis, are full-time em-
ployees and have been employed by
the University for a period of not less
than twelve months prior to the date
of application for the purchase of an
Athletic Card. The date shown on the
Employee's University Identification
Card shall be considered as the date
of employment.
4. For spouses and dependent child-
ren under 18 years of age of the above
groups.
Cost of Athletic Card-$15.40
Purchase Date:
1. At Ferry Field Ticket Office be-
ginning June 1st.
2. Preference for location expires Aug-
ust 10.
3. Additional Season Ticket purchase
privilege (limit 2) expires August 10.
Conditions and Privileges:
1. Athletic Cards or Tickets are not
transferable.
2. Ticket privileges end with termi-
nation of employment with the Univer-
sity and no refunds or rebates will be
made,
3. Football tickets issued on Athletic
Cards will be stamped. Faculty mem-
bers must have their University Iden-
tification Cards; and spouses and de-
pendents must have their athletic cards
together with their football tickets to
gain admission at the gate.
4. Faculty members and employees
who purchase Athletic Cards will re-
ceive a reserved seat at each home
football game and general admission to
basketball, track, wrestling, and base-
ball, as long as seats are available.
Counselors for Summer Session Pro-
gram at the Fresh Air Camp. Men and
women, seniors and graduate students.
Eight hours credit in education, soci-
ology, psychology and social work, plus
instructional fees, room and board pro-
vided. Counselor positions still open,

SUMMER PLACEMENT INTERVIEWING
REQUESTS
Pleasant View Hotel, Clark Lake, Mich.
(12 miles from Jackson) will interview
women candidates on May 23 in Room
3B of the Mich. Union from 2:00 p.m.
to 4:00 p.m. They have opening for five
waitresses (work would be in dining
room. soda fountain, grill work in cof-
fee chop). Salary, plus room, board &
tips. There is also 'an opening for a
salad & pastry women. Her salary
would be $30 per week, plus room &
board.
General Telephone Co., Muskegon,
Mich. will interview women candidates
for summer employment on May 24
from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. in Room 3N of
the Mich. Union. They need five or ten
girls for telephone operators with pay
starting at $35 per week, plus differen-
tial. They are interested in girls without
previous experience as well as those
who have had experience. Company will
help to locate living quarters for any
candidates who are not Muskegon res-
idents. There is a possibility of future
summer ehiployment and future ad-
vancement within the company for the

the Bureau of Appointments will hold
its LAST meeting on May 25 in Room
3G of the Michigan Union from 1:00
p.m. to 4:45 p.m. At this time all avail-
able summer job opportunities will be
on display for student inspection. The
latest material received will be in spec-
ial folders in order that students who
have attended previous meetings will
be able to quickly look over the new
jobs.

Continental Can Company, Chicago,
Ill. requests applications from male can-
didates for their Summer Research Pro-
gram. They are interested in Mech.,
Chemical and Metallurgical Engineer-
ing students, plus students in Chem.,
Food Technology and related majors
who are graduating no earlier than
Feb. 1956. Candidates must have a
basic interest in the fields of Research
and Development. The company offers
