STUDENTS concentrate on Ibsen oblivious to the workman on
campus. According to Operation and Maintenance Supervisor Ed-
ward Pardon, the plant department has been constructing addi-
tional bicycle racks north of Mason Hall. They have also placed a
directory of the campus, gift of the 1954 class, in the case at the
corner of State and North University. Further repair work will
continue all week. Raking, pruning, planting and constructing will
occupy the workmen.

Gargoyle
The last Gargoyle of the cur-
rent season will be on sale
Wednesday.
The issue will include stories
by Dori Appel, '56, Richard
Lang, Grad., and Gayle Greene,
'55. In addition, there will be a
section about computing ma-
chines. '

Board Petitions
Due Wednesday
Petitioning is open through
Wednesday for postiion on the
Anti-Discrimination Board.
Under the sponsorship of Stu-
dent Government Council, the
board is composed of students,
faculty members, and local busi-
nessmen to study and hear com-
plaints against local concerns who
may be discriminating against
students.
Petitions may be obtained from

SUMMER PLACEMENT INTERVIEWING

waitresses (work would be in dining
room, soda fountain, grill work in cof-

salad & pastry women. Her salary
would be $30 per week, plus room &

General Telephone Co., Muskegon,
Mich. will interview women candidates
for summer employment on May 24
from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. in Room 3N of
the Mich. Union. They need five or ten
girls for telephone operators with pay
starting at $35 per week, plus differen-
