Organized two years ago, the 35-' member group is directed by Les Bennett, '55SM. Organization is ;" ' on the squadron level similar to regular drill units within the Uni- versity cadet wing. On Television Last night they were featured on a program originating from the University Television Studios. In- cluded in the program were "Stars of the Summer Night," "Tell Me Why" and "The Air Force Song." Other planned concerts include a visit to the Ann Arbor Toast- masters' Club next Tuesday. Capt. John V. Reilly, USAF, faculty ad- visors to the Chorus Squadron, is -Daily-John Hirtzei a past president of the Club. LES BENNETT CONDUCTS THE AFROTC CHORUS SQUADRON French Club To Give Moliere's 'The Miser' .. Molier's "The Miser" ("L'- Avare") will be given by Le Cercle Francais at 8 p.m. tomorrow in Lydia Mendelssohn Theater. The five-act comedy will be giv- en in the original language by Uni- versity French students. It was first performed in 1668 at Le Pa- lais-Royal in Paris and is one of the most often staged plays at La Codemie Francaise. The year 1938 witnessed the last University presentation of "The "The Miser" when Prof. Charles Koella' of the French department performed the part of Harpagon, the miser. This year, Prof. Koella is directing the play, with Arthur White, '55, in the role he played 17 years ago. White did the male lead in. last year's play, "Ces Dames aux Cha- peaux Verts." Alfred Glasser, Grad., will be seen as the son and Claudine Abry, '57, will perform the role of the daughter. James Galligan, '56, Lois Binetsky, '56, Murray Budney, Grad., and Deanna Goldstein, '58, have other leading roles. Also included in the cast are: John Shepherd, '56; George Va- lenta, '55; John Hyde, '55; Clinton Hanover, '55; Damiel Testa, Grad., George Elison, '58; and Linda Landsnaes, '57. Rebillot Designs Set Stage designer for the produc- tion is Paul Rebillot, Grad. Cos- tumes were designed by Emma Mellencamp, Grad. Tickets may be purchased at Lydia Mendelssohn boxoffice from 12 to 6 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow. All seats are reserved. Henry A. Huber, Grad., studying for a master's " degree in wood technology, was one of the four outstanding forestry school stu- dents in the nation chosen for the award.
