FRIDAY, APRIL 15, 1955 Vol. LXV, No. 132 Notices Parking Restrictions: Ann Arbor Po- lice will enforce the regulation which prohibits the parking of automobiles in certain lots designating no parking be- tween 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The intent of this regulation is to prevent the use of these lots for storage purposes and to reserve them for the use of those who must drive every day. Guests of the Michigan Union when registered, will be entitled to guest parking permits for obvious reasons. Blue Cross Group Hospitalization, Medical and Surgical Service Programs for staff members will be open from April 11 to April 22 for new applications and changes in contracts now in, effect. Staff members who wish to enroll, or change their coverage- to include sur- gical and medical services, should make such changes at the Personnel Office, Room 3012 Administration Building. New applications and changes will be- come effective June 5, with the first payroll deduction on May 31, Students are reminded that unau- thorized parking in University lots, or other designated areas, is in violation of the University automobile regula- tions. All such violations reported to the Office of Student Affairs will be dis- ciplined in the amount of a $5.00 fine. Residence Hall Scholarship: Women students wishing to apply for a Resi- dence Hall Scholarship for the academ- ic ye6r 1955-56 for Helen Newberry Res- idence may do so through the Office of the Dean of Women. Qualifications will be considered on the basis of academic standing (minimum 2.5 cumulative average), need, and con- tribution to group living.
