A six-year low was reached in the Spring of 1951 at the end of a downward trend following the World War II vet- eran peak enrollment of 24,000 in 1949. .The steady climb of enrollment throughout the country has caus- ed predictions of University en- rollment in 1960 to run as high as 50,000.
