For violation of state laws and city ordinances relating to the purchase, sale and use of intoxicants: a) for securing intoxicants as a mi- nor; and being in possession of such intoxicants in a motor ve- hicle as a minor: one student suspended from the University for the balance of the first se- mester of the academic year, 1954-55 (third violation). b) use of false identification or al- tered identification: one student fined $30.00 and warned; One student fined $20.00 (fine sus- pended in view of court fine and costs of $54.30), placed on pro- bation for the balance of the first semester of the academic year, 1954-55, and warned; One student fined $15.00 (fine sus- pended in view of court fine and costs of $24.30) and warned. c) for accepting intoxicants served to them as minors and for drink- ing in student quarters; Two students fined $10.00 and warned. d) for unknowingly supplying in- toxicants to minors: one student warned. Violation of University regulations pertaining to the possession of and/or consumption of intoxicants on Univer- sity property: Three students fined $15.00 and warned; seven students fined $10.00 and warned. Conduct unbecoming a student (dis- orderly prowling): Two students fined $10.00 (fine suspended in view of court costs of $11.85) given a strong expres- sion of disapproval of actions, and warned.
