FIED 4 -Daily-Dick Gaskll PAINTING EXHIBIT-Still on view at the Alumni Hall Museum of Art are two exhibits: "The Classical Motif" and "French Painting in Mid-Century." The former exhibit contains 11 paintings, three drawings and 21 prints, includes works by such artists as Braque, Chagall, Klee, Matisse, Mod- igliani, and Picasso. The works of the more modern French artists is a survey of current trends among the younger generation of painters. It comprises 65 watercolors by 23 artists. The works in this show range from the surrealist to the more conventional, placid pieces. Museum hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 2 to 5 p.m. Sundays.
