Second-place winner was Hen- derson House and Adelia Cheever came in third of the 17 skits. The annual skit night is spon- sored by Assembly Association of independent women, and offers coeds an opportunity to enter into competition between independent 4 houses for top awards for the skits they have written and presented. Also on the program was the presentation of awards to coeds who have maintained scholastic averages of 3.8 or higher during the fall and spring semester of 1951-52. Registrar Ira Smith made these awards. For their freshman year Donna Chapin, Tilla Savanuck, Patricia Shaw, Linda Reck, Marjorie Kratz, Margaret Takagi and Lois Klein1 received awards. Helen Beatson, Frances Hill, Naonmi Lemkey and Shirley Swin- son were honored for their sopho- more records. Barbour's skit was directed by Betsy Smith and Virginia Voss. It was centered around the theme "Boys will be boys," and featured scenes from periods of the Odys- sey, Hamlet and 1984 showing how boys will be boys. Two tickets to Gulantics were presented to Lois Barnard, resi- dent director of Victor Vaughn House, who won the door prize.
