Soloists with the group will be Harold Haugh, tenor; Norma Heyde, soprano; and Philip Duey, bass, all music school fac ulty members. Conducted by Prof. Maynard Klein, the choir will open the con- cert with a motet for twelve voices and brass instruments, "Angelus Ad Pastores" by Gabrieli. Arranged by Prof. Klein, this highly-com- plex, multi-voiced motet tells the story of Christmas. * * * AMONG the other great Christ- mas works the choir will sing will be "Adoramus te" by Palestrina and "Break Forth O Beautious Heavenly Light," by J. S. Bach. Next on the program will be "A Ceremony of Carols" by Ben- jamin Britten, to be performed by the 75-voice Women's Choir with Margaret Milks accom- panying on the harp.
