To help aid students in Europe and the Middle-Last, WSSF con- tributes to the maintenance of student hostels which provide needed material assistance and demonstrates a workable solution to the problem of establishing a concern for. international under- standing in universities. The WSSF affiliation program which seeks to establish a mutual relationship between universities of different countries now links together American and German universities through the exchange of ideas and materials. The only nationally organized channel of foreign student contact, WSSF campaigns each year in U.S. colleges and universities to raise funds for its world program of university assistance. WSSF is sponsored by the Uni- ted Student Christian Council, B'nai Brith Hillel Foundation, the Newman Club Federation and the UN National Students Association. Senior Board Appointments Announced Appointments for the Senior Committee Chairmen have been made bythe Senior Board. For the first time the appoint- ments were open to seniors in all schools, and this semester the chairmen represent five schools in the university. The next Senior Board Meeting, which will include the new com- mittee chairmen will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thurs. in the League. Senior Class officers for the Mu- sic School have also been elected for the coming year. They are: president, Wesley True, vice-president, Kitty Bond, secretary, Glenna Gregory, and treasurer, Sally Bennett.
