If the proverb about history re- peating itself is true, Barrack should tumble Michigan State's Keith Kimble in the number fourf spot. The Bayonne, N. With one year of college eligibil- ity left he doesn't know for sure whether or not he'll play tennis for Pennsylvania but thinks his dentistry will keep him pretty busy. In two seasons with the Michi- gan net contingent Barrack has compiled 5-3, and 5-4 records be- sides turning in an excellent job as part of the number one and two doubles combinations. Barrack's brother took up tennis at the same time that he did and is now number one man on Cor- nell's freshman team. Playing since the age of ten, Barrack sparked his Bayonne High School team to the County title three years in a row. At present that team still has a string of 71 consecutive matches without a de- feat. Even more enviable that this record is the fact that during three years of high school competition, Barrack never lost a set. Being too busy working in the summertime for tournament play, he took the summer of 1949 to compete in a number of Eastern junior tournamehts. * An uncle who attended the Uni- versity of Michigan inspired Bar- rack to come here. Devoting almost all of his time to studies and tennis, he takes a little time in the winter to play recreation league basketball. i 7 v By The Associated Press BROOKLYN-Sal Maglie regis- tered his ninth straight victory without a defeat last night as he pitched the New York Giants to a 3-0 four-hit victory over the Brooklyn Dodgers..,e (Willie Mays, who reports for in- duction Thursday, led the Giants to their sixth straight triumph and their second in a rpw over the Dodgers with a home run and two doubles.
