Doing double duty, in charge of oncessions, and co-chairman of arograms has been Jay Strickler, 54, member of Phi Gamma Delta raternity. Nancy Fitch, '53, and John Mauriel, '53, are refreshments' co-chairmen. Miss Fitch is affil- iated with Pi Beta Phi, and Mauriel is a member of Theta Xi. The field house will open tonight at 7 p.m. and the booths and concessions will begin operations at 7:30 p.m. The carnival ends at 1 a.m. on both nights. In order to safeguard the pa- trons against possible mistakes in price during crowded times'. there will be signs poste dtelling the price limits. Any houses violating the price ceiling will be closed down for one hour during the eve- ning. * * * MEMBERS of the Central Com- mittee will be identified by rib- bons, and anyone noticing viola- tions of rules may report this to one of the Committee members. Games - of - skill booths will give out 'Michibucks' to winners of their games, and these Michi- bucks can be turned in at the Prize booth, located in the cen- ter of the Field House, for prizes ranging from miniature beer mugs, for one Michibuck, to valuable items needing fifty or sixty. The Michibuck tradition at the carnival dates back to early days, when the decision to have a single prize booth eliminated congestion at the individual booths. The Michibucks may be held through- out an evening, and a larger prize collected at the end. Only the rides and refreshments sold specially outside will be open for the Kiddie Matinee from 2 to 5 p.m. tomorrow. The field house will not be in operation.
