President and Mrs. Hatcher will he at home to students from 4 to 6 o'clock, Wednesday April 23. Choral Union Members with good at- tendance records, will please pick up their courtesy passes for the Rudolf Serkin concert Tuesday, April 22, on the day of the performance between the hours: 9 and 11:30 a.m. and 1 and 4 p.m., at the offices of the University Musical Society in Burton Memorial Tower. Undergraduate Honors Convocation: The annual Convocation recognizing undergraduate honor students will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Hill Audi- torium. Mr. Alistair Cooke, chief Amer- ican correspondent of The Manchester Guardian, will speak on the subject, "How to Wean an American." Honor students will be excused from attending their 10 o'clock classes. All classes, with the 'exception of clinics and graduate seminars, will be dis- missed at 10:45. However, seniors reg- istered in clinics and seminars may be excused. Academic costume will be worn by faculty members, who will robe back- stage and proceed to their seats on the stage. Honor students will not wear caps and gowns. Main floor seats will be reserved for them and their fami- lies and will be held until 10:45. Doors of the auditorium will open at 10:30. The public is invited. Late Permission. After consideration, Women's Judiciary has decided to grant late permission to those women stu- dents who have already seen or who have reservations for the Arts Theater production of "Othello." A member of Women's Judiciary will be in the Judi- ciary Office of the League on Monday and Wednesday from 2 to 5 to grant this permission. The permission must be obtained at these two times. The Foreign Service of the United States plans to add from 200 to 300 officers on the basis of examinations next September. Foreign Service Offi- cer G. Edward Reynolds will interview interested students on the afternoon of April 21 and all day April 22 in room 3528 Administration Building.
