Parents Announce Coed Betrothals,

Saker - Dreisbach
At a family gathering in Detroit
Mr. and Mrs. Harold H. Saker of
Detroit announced the engage-
ment of their daughter, Nancy
Ann, to Glen Roy Dreisbach, son
d of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dreisbach
of Detroit.
Miss Saker is a sophomore in
the literary college and is affili-
ated with the Alpha Delta Pi sor-
ority.
Mr. Dreisbach is in the Business
Administration School at Wayne
University.
The wedding date has been set
for Saturday, Aug. 23, at All
Saints Episcopal Church in De-
troit.

Clark - Clark
< Mr. and Mrs. H. Hoy Clark of
Detroit have announced the en-
gagement of their daughter, Cath-
erine Bertha, to Mr. William Al-
fred Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Webb Clark of Dayton, 0.
Miss Clark graduated this fall
from the School of Education. She
is a member of Senior Society and
Phi Kappa Phi.
Mr. Clark is a graduate of the
{ literary college and is now a sen-

member of Sigma Chi and Phi
Delta Phi fraternities.

KATHERINE TENNEY
Tenney - Hoyt
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Francis
Tenney of Louisiana, Miss., have
announced the engagement of
their daughter, Katherine Searle,
to Mr. John Harger Hoyt, son of
Col. Warren John Hoyt and the
late Mrs. Hoyt of Pontiac.
Miss Tenney, a junior in the lit-
erary college, is affiliated with
Kappa Delta sorority.'
Mr. Hoyt is a graduate of the
literary college and holds a teach-
ing fellowship in geology. He is a
member of Acacia fraternity and
Phi Eta Sigma honorary society.

NANCY ALLES
Alles - Molmen
Dr. and Mrs. Russell W. Alles of
Detroit have announced the en-
gagement of their daughter, Nan-
cy, to Otto George Molmen, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Molmen of Port
Washington, L.I., N.Y.
1 Miss Alles, a sophomore in the
literary college, is affiliated with
Collegiate Sorosis sorority.
Mr. Molmen, a member of Phi
Delta Theta fraternity, is a junior
in the literary college.
The wedding will take place
June 18 after which the couple
will return to Ann Arbor to at-
tend school.

CHERRY RICHARDS
Richards - Collins
Mr. and Mrs. Howard I. Rich-
ards of Farmington have announ-
ced tpe engagement of their
daughter, Cherry, to Tod Collins,
son of Mr .and Mrs. Harold W.
Collins of Detroit.
Miss Richards is a senior in the
College of Architecture and De-
sign and is a member of Alpha Chi
Omega.
Mr. Collins graduated last year
from the engineering college and
is affiliated with Lambda Chi Al-
pha and Chi Epsilon fraternities.
A summer wedding is planned.

Bacon - Ages
Mr. and Mrs. Owen S. Bacon of
Detroit have announced the en-
gagement of their 'daughter, Cor-
inne, to Herbert B. Ailes, son' of
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ailes, of
Waynesburg, Pa.
The announcement was made at
a dinner at the Alpha Chi Omega
house, Miss Bacon's sorority. Miss
Bacon is a senior in the School of
Education and was president of
women's judiciary last summer.
Mr. Ailes is a member of Alpha
Tau Omega and the American In-
stitute of Chemical Engineers. He
is a senior in the engineering col-
lege.
A summer wedding is planned
for the couple.

CATHERINE CLARK
Allen - Gangas
The engagement of Jeanne Allen
to Corporal Nicl Gangas has been
announced by Miss Allen's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Gus Allen of Monroe,
Mich.
Corporal Gangas is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Gangas of To-
ledo.
Miss Allen is a sophomore in the
literary college, and Corporal Gan-
gas is stationed at Williams Air
Force Base in Chandler, Arizona.

PATRICIA AICHELE
Day - Aichele
Miss Patricia Genevieve' Day,
daughter of Mr. Theobald Adair
Day and the late Mrs. Genevieve
Ward Day of Chevy Chase, Md.,
was married Saturday, Feb. 16, to
Lt. Carl Frederick Aichele, III,
U.S.A., son of Mr. and Mrs. C. F.
Aichele, Jr., of Mt. Lebanon, Pa.
Miss Day attended Seton Hill
College, Greensburg, Pa., Dunbar-
ton College of the Holy Cross,
Washington, D.C., and was grad-
uated from St. Joseph College,
Emmitsburg, Md., last June.
Lt. Aichele is a 1961 alumnus
of the University of Michigan. He
was president of Alpha Sigma Phi,
member of Scabbard and Blade,
Delta Sigma Pi, and the Pershing
Rifles. He is now serving with the
Quartermaster Corps.

Campbel- Trippet
Mr. and Mrs. Trueman F.
Campbell of Ann Arbor have an-
nounced the engagement of their
daughter, Ellen Holmes, to Oscar
A. Trippet, Jr., son of Mrs. James
P. Cummins of Scarsdale, N.Y.,'
and Mr. Oscar A Trippet of Los
Angeles
Miss Campbell attended Whea-
ton College in Massachusetts and
the University.

Mr. Miller graduated from the
Engineering College last February.

Pokela - Jalkanen
Mr. and Mrs. John Pokels of
Chassell, Mich., have announced

Connie, to Arthur Jolkanen, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Jolkanen,

Miss Pokela is a junior in the
literary college.

The marriage of Miriam Smith
of Ann Arbor has been announced
to David B. Marshall of Boston,
Mass.
Mrs. Marshall .attended the
University and was a former mem-
ber of the Ann Arbor Civic The-
atre Board of Directors.
Mr. Marshall received a masters
in theatre arts at the University.
He is now a production supervisor
in the motion picture division of
the Jam Handy Organization.
