WEDNESDAY, MAY 30, 1951 Local Children May Register For 'U' Course Summer Play Class WII Offer Instruction In Games, Rhythms THE MICHIGAN DAILY PrAG!r I ...*.**. .. mm I..u a 1-, .\ I Instruction in games, stunts, rhythms. and swimming is being offered to approximately thirty boys and girls this summer, begin- ning Monday, June 25 to Friday, July 6. Children between the ages of 8 an 11 years old will have an op- portunity to enroll for the classes, which will extend over a two-week period. PARTICIPATION in the physi- cal activity will take place from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. daily. Parents interested in enrolling their children may do so by tele- phoning Barbour Gymnasium, 31511, ext. 391. Enrollment will be limited to about thirty children. THERE IS NO fee for the classes which will be held in Barbour Gymnasium in conjunction with a short course in elementary school physical education. The course is being offered for administrators and experi- enced teachers. Dr. Delia Hus- sey and Dr. Dorothy LaSalle of Wayne University will be in charge of instruction. A 11 children attending these classes are requested to wear ten- nis shoes. Two periods of swimming in- struction per week will be avail- able to the children who are en- rolled in the classes.
