It will be held from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Union Ballroom. Hal McIntyre and his orches- tra wil lprovide the music. Saxa- phone solos by the maestro and vocals by Sunny Gale will high- light the evening. Decorations have been designed to carry out the "college days" theme. Murals and panels will de- pict familiar scenes of bygone years, and there will be an attempt to foretell what is in store for the future. PREVIOUSLY, Senior Ball has* always been formal, but this year r "dressy" but informal attire will be worn. Tickets for the dance may be purchased for $3.60 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. today at the Admini- stration Bldg. They will also be on sale at the door. Last year's Senior Ball was also held at the Union. It was formal and featured the music of Don Pablo and his orchestra. The special events committee of the senior class is planning the dance this year as one of their -main functions. At an executive meeting of the organization Sue Nasset, '54, Millie Vinitsky, '54 and Dave Edwards, '52 will draw up a new constitution to take the place of obsolete poli- cies drawn up in 1946. In 1946 the Student Players started as "The Little Theatre of Willow Village." "SINCE THEN," said Miss Nas- set, chairman of the committee, "the Players have developed into a strong, integrated group." "They provide recreation and valuable experience to stidents who are interested in theatre, but who cannot devote too much time to it," she continued. Originally the organization was largely a club. for veterans and their wives. The group is now open to anyone. * * BECAUSE OF the change in b m~rhin tha rmifttP felIe Increasing in popularity as the summer season approaches, stoles are one of the featured fashion articles in stores and magazines. Formerly stoles were worn only with formal dresses but now they have been adapted to the most casual wear. They give a dramatic touch to any new dress and, more practically speaking, provide a cunning disguise for an old outfit. Stoles are found in a variety of styles.
