With every corner of that male stronghold open to feminine curi- osity, the Union will break tradi- tion by presenting a preview of this year's JGP, "It's the Payoff." PRESENTING students with the opportunity to take a look at dance and songnumbers from the show, -the preview will be held from 2:45 to 3:10 p.m. and from 4:25 to 4:50 p.m. in the Union Ball- room. Women will also be featured in the Union pool, when some of the members of Michifish stage two shows which are slated for 2:30 and 4 p.m.n In between shows, students may wander down to the North Lounge where a mixer, featuring the mu- sic of the Art King Combo, will be held. THE MIXER is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m., and hostesses will be provided by the League. Students may also meander throughout the Union exploring the Student Offices, Interfra- ternity Office and even the Tower! They may also take in the all campus singles bowling finals to ~'be held from 1 to 3 p.m., and the pool, billiard and ping pong championships, scheduled at 3 p.m. Those who prefer to glimpse the more scientific subjects, may .do so at the General Motors "Pre- view of Progress" to be staged from 1:45 to 2:35 p.m. and from 3:30 to 4:20 p.m. in the Union Ballroom. Shamrocks, clay pipes and the "blarney stone" will set the Irish mood as coleens and buacailli-that's Gaelic for "boy"-toast the memory of old St. Patrick in green punch. "The luck of the Irish" will prevail at Chi Phi, Phi Tau, Sigma Nu, Phi Gam, Zeta Psi,Phi Delta Phi, Tyler House, Allen Rumsey- Wenley, Zeta Tau Alpha, Couzens Hall and Alpha Epsilon Iota, hon- orary music sorority. * * * * IN A MORE SOMBRE VEIN, ATO and Phi Rho Sigma will hold funeral wakes for another famous Irishman, Paddy Murphy. Coffins and other appropriate decoration will invade the houses on this "sad" occasion.. * * * * IN KEEPING WITH the Irish spirit, Delta Sgma Phis will enter- tain their dates at "Club Shamrock" casino. FRANCE, TOO, seems to provide a popultr party theme. Kappa Sig, Phi Delt and SAM will turn their houses into replicas of "'gay Parle." * . * * "BUCK ROGERS" and life in 2500 A.D. will provide the back- ground for the Acacia "space-ship" party. Couples will wear costumes that they feel would be appropriate to this future age. * * * * "UNDERWORLD CHARACTERS" and their "gun-molls" will take over the Tau Delta Phi "club house" Saturday night with a "welcome home party for a big-time gangster who just got out of jail." IMAGINATIONS are being put to work by SAEs and their dates as they try to figure out how to dress like their favorite "suppressed desires." SIG EPS' "Beaux's Art's" party will also put ingenuity and uniqueness to the test. Costumes are to depict artists or their arts. * * * * DELTA SIGMA DELTA couples will stroll down "Bowery Lane" at the fraternity costume party tomorrow night. IT WILL BE a "do-se-do with your partner" at the Phi Sigma Kappa and Phi Alpha Kappa square dance parties this weekend. * * * * IN A "DOWN ON THE FARM" atmosphere Alpha Sigs and their dates will attend a real old-fashioned country social-complete with Bingo, and Roulette and other appropriate games. Group T0 Plan Co-opHousing Women interested in interna- tional living will meet tomorrow at the home of Mrs. Sibley Hoob- ley. Those women who are interested in attending the social will meet at the League at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Plans are now being made for an international house to be run on a semi-cooperative basis to be open next fall. Plans will be dis- cussed for, this house at the so- cial. T h e entertainment program will consist of a piano solo by Vera Coroton, a displaced student who is supported by the League. Valerie Cowen from Wales will deliver a reading. With guitar ac- companiments, Cris Christie will sing a variety of folk songs. Furthering the understanding between American and foreign students will be the aim of the in- ternational house. Twenty - five women will be able to live in the house. Half this amount will be American women students and the other half will be foreign wo- men students. "Something old" will be the theme of the "Little Club" to be open to students from 8:30 p.m. to midnight today in the second floor dining room of the League. Students attending this campus nightspot may dance to such tunes of past years as "Stardust" and "My Blue Heaven." Bob Leopold and his combo will provide the music for this night of melodies from recent years. In between dances, students may join their friends at one of the many tables surrounding the dance floor or pay a visit to the refresh- ment stand to be set up in the club by the Association of Inde- pendent Men. In keeping with the practice of big town nightclubs, the "Little Club" will also stage a floorshow for the entertainment of its pa- trons. Featuring performers se- lected from the student body, the show will vary each week. Every Friday the band also will feature a special style of music which so far has varied from ren- ditions of the blues to this week's trip down memory lane. In answer to student requests, there will also be Charleston num bers each week, thus enabling couples to take a try at the dances popular twenty years ago. Admission is $1 per couple until 10:30 p.m. after which the price will be lowered to 74 cents. Chaos Theme Prevails At Guild Party Tonight The Congregational, Disciples; Evangelical, and Reformed Guild will hold a "Chaos" party at 9 p.- m. today at the Congregational Church, 608 E. William St. The party is being held to cele- brate the new fouifd. unity of the guild. The theme symbolizes the chaotic disorganization of the guild during recent dissention in the ranks. Featured at the party will be personal "talent" games. These will consist of potato carving con- tests, finger painting, and "tall tale" contests. Rhodes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip L. Rhodes of Pelham Manor, N.Y., has been an- nounced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Fuller of Des Moines, Iowa. Miss Fuller,,.a graduate of Pine Manor Junior College, Wellesley, Mass., is a junior in the literary college. Mr. Rhodes is a special student in naval architecture.
