The floor show of the informal record dance will feature the samba and mambo routine of Ed- ward Fusco and Mary Fisher, both formerly with Arthur Murray. June Chadwick will do acrobatic dancing. Further attractions in the floor show will be the waltz and charleston rendered by individuals of the League exhibition group. A cabaret entertainer, singing French songs, will help to complete the exotic effect. * * * DANCING WILL take place in the ballroom, while another room will be devoted to games of chance and a third room will contain re- freshments. Hostesses in formal dress, members of Club Europa, will welcome all men and women students who may attend with or without dates. Tickets, pric- ed at 50 cents, may be purchas- ed at the door. Other special guests will be Dr. Esson Gale, director of the In- ternational Center, and approxi- mately 30 members of Wayne University's International Stu- dents Association. Club Europa was inaugurated this fall for all students from Europa. This is the first event it has sponsored. WAA Fencing Club To Offer Instruction For New Members "On guard!" Fencers and would-be fencers are eligible to join the WAA fenc- ing club. The organizational meeting will be at 5 p.m. today at the WAB. Instruction for beginners will be available. New members will bout and later in the season will have a tournament. Old members and more experi- enced fencers will have a round robin tournament. The club will sponsor a demon- stration for the. fencing classes. Another planned activity for the club will include a trip to Detroit to see Salle de Tusca fence. This central committee de- cides where the dance will be held, the theme of the dance, the orchestra, favors, programs and patrons. It also sets the price of the tickets.
