The interviewing council will hold office hours from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 3 to Oct. 7 and will answer questions for interested persons at that time. For further information, the 'League Lowdown,' 'The Presi- dent's Reports' or any committee chairman may be consulted. * * * WHEN PETITIONS are handed in, each applicant should sign for an interview on the bulletin board. Petitions are available in the Un- dergraduate office. Positions open for petitioning are as follows-Judiciary com- mittee: one senior member, one junior member and a sophomore aid; Interviewing council: a junior and a sophomore mem- 'ber; Dance committee: one sophomore captain;. Merit-Tu- torial committee: one junior as- sistant. Positions are open for three junior assistants, one with book- keeping experience, on the Special Projects committee; one junior as- sistant is-needed on the Personnel committee and one junior assis- tant on the Social committee. Junior Girls' Play positions to be filled. are: ushering chairman, assistant dance chairman, assis- tant stage manager and four as- sistant chairmen in charge of choral conducting, composing, and arranging. Domes Given Tea A tea will be given from 4 to 6 p.m . today by Mrs. Alexander Ruthven at 815 S. University for the Michigan Dames. All student wives and wives of students and internes are invited to attend. Panhel Seeks Vice-president Petitions for Panhellenic posi- tions may be turned in at the Un- dergraduate office of the League until Wednesday. An interviewing sheet, to be signed by applicants when they hand in their petitions, will be posted on the bulletin board of the office. Interviews will begin Wed- nesday and continue until Mon- day, Oct. 10. The position of first vice-presi- dent of Panhellenic .Association has been vacated and is open to any eligible senior women. * * * MEMBERS OF ALL classes may petition for a chairmanship on the Panhellenic Ball Committee. Positions to be filled tip this committee include: general chairman, assistant chairman, publicity chairman and assis- tant, decoration chairman and assistant, program chairman, refreshment chairman, ticket chairman and patrons chairman. Four positions on the committee for faculty teas also are open to students of any class. Phys Ed Club Starts Activities The Women's Physical Educa- tion Club will start its social ac- tivities with an open house from 8 to 12 p.m. today in the Women's Athletic Building. Facilities of the building, such as bowling alleys and ping-pong tables, offer unusual opportunities for recreation. The more custom- ary forms of entertainment, in- cluding dancing and bridge will also be available. Dress is informal and refresh- ments will be served.
