Other positions include: sec- retary of judiciary council, senior member of judiciary council, secretary of interview- ing council, finance chairman of dance classes, two senior dance class captains, and assis- tant chairman of special pro- jects in charge of the talent file. Other. positions open are: chairman of transfer orientation, secretary of the orientation com- mittee, social chairman of the or- ientation committee and infor- mation booth chairman of the orientation committee. PROSPECTIVE inter-1 viewees may obtain information about petitioning during office hours of the interviewing com- mittee today and also Jan. 4 and 5. Additional information may be obtained from the president's reports, the League Lowdown and the constitution of the Lea- gue undergraduate council. Petitions are now available in the League Undergraduate Office. All petitions will be due at 5 p.m., Jan. 5. When petitions are handed in, interview appoint- ments should be made. On Committee Mary C. Bromage, Associate Dean of Women, has been appoint- ed to a committee on professional standards of deans of women. This committee will make a re- port at the spring conference of the National Association of Deans and Counselors of Women. Prior to the conference, the committee will meet to review existing stand- ards and objectives used in select- ing deans of women in colleges and universities throughout the nation. To Be Last Of Season The last master point game of the 1949 bridge season will be played at 7:30 p.m. today at the Union. There will be a fee of fifty cents per evening for master points and thirty-five cents for regular games. The games are open to the campus and kibitzers are welcome. Room location will be posted on the Union bulletin board. Models, preferably with experi- ence, who wish to participate in Junior Girls' Play may tryout from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 7. High-heeled shoes should be worn when trying out for mod- eling, Jennie Quirk, JGP Director, has announced. Tryouts for specialty acts will be held on the same day from 2 to 5 p.m. Trios, soloists and choruses, which are especially needed, will tryout from 3 to 6 p.m. Jan. 4, 5, 6 and 9. Sign-up sheets are posted in the Undergraduate Office of t h e League. Women who will be juniors next semester or who are not eligible to participate now, but who expect to be eligible next semester, may try out. Rifle Club The WAA Rifle Club will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. today as scheduled, but will not meet from 7 to 9 p.m. today nor from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday.
