The Women's Judiciary Coun- cil, consisting of three juniors and four seniors, works in con- junction with the Office of the Dean of Women to formulate house rules and acts as a disci- plinary board in cases of infrac- tion of house rules. All University women students residing in organized undergradu- ate houses, including graduate students, must observe all house rules. Thel same applies to guests of residents. Any student expecting to be out of her house after 7:30 p.m. must register the occasion and place, and, if out of town, the complete address. No local telephone calls may be received or sent after 11 p.m. or such time as the switchboard closes. All local calls must be lim- ited to five minutes. No outgoing long distance calls may be made after 11 p.m. without special ar- rangement with the house presi- dent or the house head. In case of emergency, incoming long dis- tance calls may be received after 11 p.m. Quiet hours shall be fixed by the individual houses, and their en- forcement shall be supervised by the house president and the Ju- diciary Council. Calling hours for men are Mon- day through Friday at 3 p.m. Sat- urday and Sunday, the hours are decided by the individual house. Closing hours are: Sunday, 11 p.m.; Monday through Thursday, 10:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 12:30 a.m. Girls who attend the following events must be in the house one- half hour after the termination of the event: 1. Functions approved for late permission by the Committee of Student Affairs or the Dean of Women. 2. Choral Union Concerts and May Festival Concerts, Oratorical Association Lectures and athletic events. 3. Play production perform- ances and other functions in the Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre. Any student who finds that she may be more than thirty minutes late after the regular closing hour or more than fifteen minutes late over any late permission shall no- tify her resident director of her expected lateness and probable time of return to the house. Any girl who violates the house rules and is brought before the Judiciary Council may be placed on social probation. Office of the Dean of Women Judiciary Council Parking Areas on Campus Student drivers are reminded that their driving tags or "M" stickers secured in the Office of Student Affairs are NOT PARK- ING PERMITS and do not give them permission to park in the re- stricted campus parking lots so designated by means of signs at the entrances. Students violating these parking regulations are sub- ject to a monetary fine and possi- ble loss of driving privileges. Student Loan Prints Any student registered at the Universityris eligible to rent a framed print from the Student Loan Library collection of 750 framed reproductions for the fall semester. The prints are being as- signed to students at the North Gallery, Museum of Art, through Wednesday, Sept. 28. The Gallery is open from 9-12 a.m. and 1-5 p.m. daily. Students are reminded to bring the fall cashier's receipt and the rental fee of 50 cents with them when signing for a print. The assigned prints will be dis- tributed from Room 508 (base- ment), Administration Building, the week of October 3rd. Householders interested in ob- taining baby sitters may tele- phone the Dean of Women's Of- fice, 3-1511, Ext. 341. Baby sitters interested in put- ting their names on the baby sit- ters' list may register in the Dean of Women's Office, 1514 Adminis- tration Building.
