Although they have a good deal
to work on and polish up before
tackling Stanford's amazing eleven
next Saturday, Michigan's gridders

WHAT WILL receive the most
work in the following drills this
week is ironing out the kinks in
the offensive pattern.
Baffled by State's eight-man
line most of the game, the Wol-
verines must work to counter-
act that defense, which proved
so effective against them and
which they will probably run
into again before the season is
over.
Head coach Bennie Oosterbaan
said after the game, "Once you
get by a line like that you've only
got three men to beat," which
might be the cue to see the Wol-
verines take to the air should such
a situation be encountered again.
Michigan has only two days of
practice left here before leaving
for California Thursday.
