Folowing close behind the title- holders was Sigma Chi. The I-M chatnps won top honors in five individual sports, including handball, volleyball, paddleball, bowling and cross country. They also tied for first in the foul throwing event. 2- * * THE SIG EPS have hopes of taking another sport title when they face Phi Delta Theta in the softball finals at 4 p.m. today at Wines Field. J o h n Branaman, athletic chairman for the house, credits Don McPhail, Bob Gregory and Larry Shaw with some fine work in bringing home the trophy. McPhail, who captained both the handball and paddleball teams, and Gregory, who lead the house eleven, took part in seven sports each. Placing second in the frater- nity cross-country races was only one of the six activities which Shaw played in. He also paced the golf team hitting con- sistently in the low seventies. Bob Schmidt has also helped greatly with his fine pitching on the softball team. Bob has re- corded three one-hitters so far this season and will be going for the win in tomorrow's finals. -Daily-Wally Barth TOP ATHLETE-Earl Riskey (left), director of I-M Sports, presents the annual Michigan Daily trophy to- Bill Raymond, Ray11mond Wins Daily Trophy Y ,O R M.C.F.
