Even our new figure would be below some of the col- leges," he said. A Phi Kappa Tau, Nesbitt finds little free time from his fraternity, SL, and classes. "That's a good question," he said about spare time. BUT HE DOES get a chance to play a little basketball and hand- ball once in a while at the IM Building, and "Talk politics over the net with my friends." Miss Hager, a junior majoring in English, transferred here from the University of Missouri as a sophomore, and has become a top campus figure in two short years. And she plans to run again this spring for a second SL term. Holding down another veep po- sition in Martha Cook Dorm, Miss Hager is also social chairman and fire warden. "I can get social any- time I want to," she quipped. * * * BESIDES HER politicking and "socializing," Miss Hager is also known for her ballad singing for campus groups, armed with her trusty guitar which she picked up and learned to play at West Vir- ginia and while working in Mon- tana. She picked up many of her songs "in little valleys packed away in the hills where the peo- ple still speak the Elizabethan dialect, with its 'Thou's' and 'Thy's'," she said. ALTHOUGH she rushed a sor- ority at Missouri, she took one look at the setup there and de- pledged. But at Michigan the sor- orities are definitely a change for the better, she confided. Why did she depledge? "I could- n't even spell the sorority's name," she said. And she's stayed inde- pendent ever since.
