Opening 8:30 p.m., Tuesday in Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre, the Shakespearean comedy will have seven performances including Thursday and Saturday matinees. ** * ARNOLD MOSS, Frances Reid and Carl Benton Reid will head a cast of 17 including 12 University students. Moss, who graduated from C.C.N.Y. at the age of 18 as a specialist in Latin and Greek, has appeared in such recent Broadway productions as "The Fifth Column," "The Tempest" and "Front Page." Miss Reid has made her name in the theatre in the roles of Ophelia opposite Maurice Evans in "Hamlet," and Roxane opposite Jose Ferrer in "Cyrano de Ber- gerac." Ditson award of $1,000. The award is presented annually by Columbia University to an American conductor for distin- guished service in the field of American music.
