Males Get AIM'S "New Deal" for indepen- dent men not living in residence. halls will throw open its doors to all such students at 7:15 p.m. to- day in Room 3C of the Union. Formerly the program was lim- ited to independent men living within a limited area, the "pilot district," in order to test the re- sponse to such a plan. Results of the organization of the district were so successful that AIM de- cided to organize the rest of the independent men, according to James Rice, who is in charge of the "new deal" program. AIM's "New Deal" began early this semester with the organiza- tion of the "pilot district." The purpose is to provide the benefits of house governments to the ap- proximately 7,000 men not now having them, Rice said. Publication in The Daily Official Bulletin is constructive notice to all members of the University. Notices for the Bulletin should be sent in typewritten form to the Office of the Assistant to the President, Room 2552 Administration Building, by 3:00 p.m. on the day preceding publication (11 :00 a.m. Saturdays).
