On campus, World Cooperation Week will be celebated by a se- ries of events starting with an in- ternational sports program Sun- day, and culminating in Interna- tional Ball, May 6. TWO E XHIBITI0N soccer matches will be played between Turkish, Chinese, Arabian and American teams, 1 p.m. Sunday at Ferry Field. Teas honoring foreign students will be held from 3-5 p.m. at church guilds. Sunday's events also include a Turkish International banquet, 6:30 p.m. at the International Center. Foreign student groups will be honored. International Pageant, a pro- gram of dances and songs, will be presented 8 p.m. May 2 at Patten- gill Auditorium. The program is being arranged by Phi Iota Alpha, Chinese Students' Club, Hindus- tan Association, Hawaiian Stu- dents' Club, and Polonia Club. "WHAT WE'VE learned about the American Way of Life" will be the topic of a panel discussion by foreign students to be broadcastj over station WUOM at 3:30 p.m. May 3. The American Association of University Women has issued aj dinner invitation for May 3 to for- eign students on campus. Continuing the program, a se- ries of seminars dealing with internatinal problems and the UN will be held 8 p.m. May 3. A radio broadcast, "UNESCO- World Cooperation through Stu- dent Exchange," will be sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Com- merce 8 p.m. May 5. Earlier in the" day the International Center will hold a tea and open house from 4:30-6 p.m. CAPPING THE week's activities will be the annual International Ball sponsored by the Interna- tional Students Association. The formal dance will be held from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. May 6 at the Union. The Phi Iota Alpha banquet, honoring student chairmen of the week's program will be held 6:30 p.m. May 8 at the Interna- tional Center. Tickets for all events may be obtained at the Center.
