FIRE AT STOCKWELL-It's only a drill, as the happy expressions on the coeds' faces prove. Some
540 women turned, out for the practice fire, the first ever to be held at Stockwell. Sign with num-
ber 35 on it tells girls where to line up to avoid confusion. Most coeds knew about the drill in ad-
vance, but were still pretty excited about the event. At 11:45 p.m. they were aroused from uneasy
slumber to troop out into the night before the peering eyes oi a crowd of male spectators.
