Will Osborne, talented orches- tra leader and vocalist, will provide the music. The sophistication style of Os- borne's orchestra will set the pace for decorations on the "Mood In- digo" theme. The color scheme will be blue and silver. Garden Club will open its fall season of meetings Tuesday, Nov. 16, with Marion Wilson, project services adviser, as guest speaker. ahe will show scenic pictures of the United States, including Willow Village. Membership is open to any interested Village residents and meetings at the University Community Center are held on the third Tuesday of each month. Programs will include discussions of planting and care of flowers, flower arrangements and sight-seeing trips to nurseries. During the past two seasons the club has been given seeds, bulbs, plants and shrubbery by the Ann Arbor Garden Club. Mrs. Blaine Rabbers is temporary chairman of the group. * * * * HARRY A. LEITER, musical director of J. L. Hudson Co. of Detroit, will present the musical appreciation program of Student Wives Club at 8 p.m. Tuesday instead of Saturday as previously an- nounced. Members of the cooperative nursery will be guests at the open meeting. When the drive for used clothing was opened two years ago by Village Church Fellowship, the typical reaction was, "Since living at the Village we have had to wear all our old clothes and we haven't a thing to give away." PEOPLE RANSACKED their closets, however, and so far have come up with 100 bags' valued at $1,000, according to the Rev. J. E. Edwards. Clean, serviceable clothing is also being collected by Chapel Chums, teen age group of Christ Chapel, for shipment overseas. THE SOCIAL COMMITTEE of the Village Church Fellowship will sponsor a family potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14. The main dish and coffee will be prepared by the committee. Guests should bring table service, milk for children and a salad or dessert. ~ ~ 1 Crop and Saddle To Reorganize Crop and Saddle will ride again this year if enough interest is shown at the reorganizational meeting to be held at 5:10 p.m. tomorrow in the big lounge of WAB. Discontinued last year due to the lack of riding facilities, the club has arranged this year to ride at the Ranch Hill Stables on Washtenaw. Riding will continue as long as weather permits and the group will be open to any woman inter- ested in riding. Transportation will be furnished to the stables after the group is organized and regular riding begins. During the winter season the club, under temporary manager Rosanne Heim, will hold confirma- tion classes with instruction on horsemanship and riding skills. In previous years Crop and Saddle has held an annual horse show with over 50 students partici- pating. JGP Notes JGP finance committee will meet at 5 p.m. tomorrow in the AB Room of the League. Bridge lessons, in preparation for the national intercollegiate duplicate bridge tournament, will be sponsored by the Union and League at 7:30 p.m. every Wednes- day in the ballroom of the Union. This series of bridge lessons will be given by Mrs. Bernard Agruss, winner ofthe All-American bridge trophy. 4 People interested will be di- vided into advanced and be- ginners groups. There will be a charge of tweny- five cents per person which will go into a fund to finance expendi- tures for trips to various tourna- ments throughout. the country.
