California Played Colorado Besides playing Michigan on their eastern trip, the Bears had games with Colorado College and Dartmouth, both of whom have clinched positions in the play- offs. The Bears dropped a pair of games to the Tigers of Colorado, 6-5 and 12-4 and fell before the powerhouse of Dartmouth 13-4. Although both Dartmouth and Michigan defeated California by an identical margin of nine goals, several Bear players termed the Indians the best team that they had played so far and said that they were the t earn to beat in the playoffs. Cardiff Acclaims Tigers In commenting on Colorado's team, first line California wing- man Cy Cardiff stated that the Tigers were almost on a par with Dartmouth and that they were practically impossible to beat on their home ice.
