Stetson, 1809 Charleton Ave., who cooked up the plea, the response is building up. A couple of cases cascaded into big cartons of toilet soap, laundry soap and even flake soap. More than 150 bars toward her goal have already been turned in to her home, the Methodist Church, the Chamber of Com- merce office and the Ann Arbor Cooperative Store. "Wanted-1,000 bars of soap," is her motto, Mrs. Stetson explained hopefully. Miss Lewis, who participated in a UNESCO seminar in England' reported that Britishers are ra- tioned to one bar per week for all purposes and the people on the Continent have "none at all!" All the donated soap is transported and distributed by UNESCO and a report on where it went and the good it did is sent back to the United States, ac- cording to Miss Lewis. - - ni- (Continued from Page 5) subtitles. 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Fri- day and Saturday, Lydia Mendels- sohn Theatre.
