Placing first in three events, Wenley garnered 19 points. Greene was second with 17 mark- ers, and Lloyd followed closely with 17 points and third place. Bill Huff earned one first place for Wenley in the 60 yard dash with a time of .06:9. Frank Whitehouse, Hatyden House, was second and Ed Stepkow- iez, Greene, third in this event. In the 65 yard high hurdles,I Wenley placed on top as Gerry Iler took first with a .09:1 time and Tom Upton was third. John Hess, Williams House, was sec- ond. Lanky Jack Bryant got the third Wenley first place victory in the shot put with a heave of 37' 10". Clyde Reeme, Michigan House, was close behind with a 37'" toss. Chuck Gibbs marked up a third place for Vaughan House. Greene added up its points with victories in the 440 and the high jump while Lloyd was very strong in the 880 and the mile. Repeating his outdoor win last fall, Frank Sutton took the 440 in .57:9 for Greene. In the high jump, George Jack- son of Greene and Reeme, top Michigan point maker, tied at 5'4". Bob Reynolds and Chuck Freuman, both of Chicago House, tied for second. Blaine Ingram was another re- peat champion from outdoor track in winning the mile for Lloyd in the good time of 5.04:2. Ingram turned on an extra burst of speed in the last lap to edge out John Broden of Allen-Rumsey House. Boyd McCaslin, varsity cage star and last year's mile win- ner, took third for 'Allen-Rumsey. In the half-mile Lloyd made it a one-two affair with Regi- nald Ernst coming in first in 2.13:4 and Ilarvey Burley sec- ond. Burley led the fr2ld for two laps and then Ernst speeded up to break the tape first. John Hess won the pole vault for Williams with 9'6" effort. Along with his second place in the hurdles, this victory gave Hess high individual point total for the meet. Jumping 18'6," Roger Kenyon, Vaughan, was winner in the broad jump. Whitehouse, Hayden, was second and Jacques Duchamp, Greene, was third. Following Wenley, Greene, and Lloyd in the meet totals was Mich- tan Houspi with 10 2points Vaughan and Williams tied for fifth with 10 markers.
