Men's Groups To Be Honored At Union Dance Se-Hon-So Ball, the second Un- ion dance of the year to honor men's honorary societies, will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight, Sat-. urday in the Union ballroom. The dance, a sequel to Ju-Hon- So Ball, held a month ago, will honorthe two senior honorary societies, Druids and Vulcans. Frank Tinker and his orchestra will provide music for the dance, and will feature Margeann as vo- calist. Intermission entertainment has been planned to include a black face chorus, blues singer, and comedy act. Decorations for the dance are under the supervision of Gerry Goldsmith and Pete Craighead. Publicity heads are Bob Maier and Steve Hajos; programs de- signed by Dick Bender and John Bergman; and entertainment is being planned by Bill Curry and Al Borger. Casbah To Hold 'Sleigh Bell Ball' "Sleigh Bell Ball," Campus Cas- bah's special informal Christmas dance, will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday in the League Ballroom. The main feature of the dance will be a student talent revue en- titled "Sleigh It's Not Snow." The show, which is to be presented during intermission, will be intro- duced by master of ceremonies, Buck Dawson. Keeping up with the weather, "Operation Igloo" will be the theme of the Theta Cni pledge formal tomorrow. Beginning with a dinner at the Union, the Theta Chi's will progress to their house where they will dance to the music of Johnny Harberd's orchestra. Kay Linch, chairman of the Gamma Phi Christmas formal to- day has planned old-fashioned Christmas decorations for the house. Refreshments will be served, and Johnny Harberd will fur- nish the music. The AK Psi's will honor their pledges at a formal dance tomorrow. Fruit cake and punch will be served in a candlelit atmosphere with Christmas decorations. Howard Williams and his band from Toledo will play for dancing from 9 p.m. to midnight in the League Hussey Room. CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS will also be featured at the Delta Gamma house tomorrow when the DG's hold their annual winter formal. The Christmas spirit will reign over the "Candy Cane Caper" when Santa Claus puts in his appearance at Jordan Hall today. Har- vey Judson's orchestra will provide the music at this informal dance. Pledges of Phi Sigma Kappa will dance above the clouds in the dim starlight of interplanetary space at the formal dance honoring them tomorrow. Music will be furnished by Al Chase and his orchestra. Helen Newberry coeds will present a Christmas formal today fea- turing the music of Al Chase. Punch and cookies will be served as re- freshments. FRATERNITY COLORS and a Christmas theme will be the basis of the decorations at the Washtenaw Country Club when the Kappa Sig's hold their pledge formal today. Johnny Cakes and his band will play for dancing, and miniature paddles will be given as favors. The coeds of Mary Markley House and their guests will be en- tertained at a Christmas party from 8 p.m. to midnight today. The Alpha Xi's will present their 21st annual "Holly Hop" at 9 p.m. today in the °Union. Corky Kuivinen's Revelers will fur- nish music for the formal. Sigma Chi pledges will be honored at a formal dance tomorrow at the chapter house. Ralph Wilson's orchestra will furnish music in a Christmas setting. Pledge dates will be favored with miniature pad- dles and white rose corsages. THE TRADITIONAL tree-trimming and caroling party will be held at Adelia Cheever House at 8:30 p.m. today. The America of the 1920 era will be the theme of the dance at which Whitey Gobrecht and his band will be highlighted. Betsy Barbour's annual "Holiday Hop" will feature old-fashioned Christmas decorations on a red and green theme. Theta Xi will initiate an all-week Christmas display when they decorate the outside of their house for their pledge formal tomorrow. Santa Claus, his sleigh and reindeer will light up the front of the house. The pillars will be decked out as candy canes. Winter wonderland decorations have also been planned for the inside of the house. Coeds are requested to wear the "old look" (tight sweaters and short skirts) at the SAE "Holiday Preview" tomorrow.
