Recently a member of a group which investigated conditions in Po- land, Senator Nowack will tell the "inside" story of the success of Po- land's democratization program. Percival Price, the regular carillon- eur, is expected to return from Eur- ope May 1 and will probably play the concerts. However, if he is delayed they will be played by Mr. Giles who has been substituting for Mr. Price while he is on his trip. The concerts are a traditional fea- ture of the Festival programs, being played one-half hour before each concert begins. Mr. Giles also an- nounced tentative plans for Thurs- day afternoon and Sunday evening concerts before the opening of the festival. Play Tickets To Go on Sale Tickets for "Les Femmes Savan- tes," the 40th play to be presented by Le Cercle Francais in as many years, will go on sale at 2 p.m. Monday in the box office of the Lydia Mendels- sohn Theatre. "Les Femmes Savantes," never be- fore produced here, is the 11th play of Moliere's to be given by the club. "(1' Songs Recorded The first in a series of recordings of well-known Michigan songs were made Wednesday night in Hill Audi- torium by the University Glee Club under the sponsorship of the Alumni Association. Plans to sell approximately 3,000 albums of the completed series at the forthcoming Victory Reunion are now being made. Arrangements are also being made to distribute the albums to the various alumni groups through- out the country. The completed series will include recordings by both the Glee Club and the University Band. The re- mainder of the records will be made tomorrow.
