Whether it be a hair bow, skirt, sweater, or socks, all freshman coeds are asked to wear green, their chosen class color, in order to carry out "Freshman Girls' Day" in the proper spirit of friendliness. The mixer, which will headline a day of activities for freshman women, will feature various forms of enter- tainment. There will be free cokes, tables for bridge, and a juke box to provide music. The ballroom will be decorated with signs saying "hello" in different languages. The purpose of "Freshman Girls' Day" is to give freshman women the opportunity to become well acquaint- ed, since they are ineligible for activi- ties and are restrained from contact with many women on campus by con- tact rules.
