Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, March 7, 8, and 9 in the League. These tryouts will include all parts in the production, such as acting, singing, and dancing. The judges of the tryouts will be Carol McCor- mick, director; Jayned Gourley, dance chairman; and Masaka Ono and Anne Crossley, co-chairmen of music selections. Experience Not Necessary According to Miss McCormick, ex- perience is not a necessary prerequi- site for tryouts, interest and enthusi- asm for the play being the important items. Sign-up sheets will be placed in the Undergraduate Office in the League, Monday, March 6, so pros- pective tryouts may indicate their time preference. Work on the play will begin imme- diately after the cast is selected and the date of the performances has been set for early spring. Play Being Written The script committee under the co- chairmanship of Marcia Wellman and Marian Johnson is writing the play now, and it will be used to furnish descriptions for the various parts in the play at the time of tryouts. The deadline for volunteering to work on the various committees has been set for Monday, March 5. The committees which need volunteers are properties, stage force, scenery, cos- tumes, make-up, programs, tickets, publicity, and ushers. Women may sign up committees on the slip pro- vided in the Undergraduate Office. According to Fran Goldberg, chair- man of the play, the first central committee meeting will be held at 5 p. m. Tuesday, March 6, in the JG play office in the League. Sorneihing' -- Sonein Sonwei yi 9,ag, i Niehuss, Vice-President and Mrs. S. W. Smith, Regent Vera B. Baits and Mr. S. G.
