Jean Gilman, Helen Newberry, re-
tiring president of the Women's Glee
Club, presented the Glee Club offic-
ers for the coming year. They are:

president, Dorothy Gray, State Street
House, vice-president, Lenis Brit-
ton, Alpha Omicron Pi, secretary,
Barbara Evert, Gamma Phi Beta,
business manager, and Carol Fram-
burg, Delta Delta Delta, historian
and publicity manger.
Miss Mattern then announced
the names of the girls who had
been appointed to the central com-
mittees of the sophmore and jun-
ior class projects. JGP will be di-
rected by general chairman Ann
Lippencott, Kappa Alpha Theta.
Her assistant chairman will be Joan
Schlee, Chi Omega. Katherine
Verschore, Kappa Alpha Theta, was
appointed treasurer, Janet Morgan,
Gamma Phi Beta, secretary, Betty
Pritchard, Pi Beta Phi, sorority
sales manager, Ruth Humphrey,
Mosher, dormitory sales manager
and Hillary Jenswold, Kappa Kap-
pa Gamma, League House sales
manager.
Betty Leavitt, Tappan House, will
serve as booth chairman while Mar-
tha Dieffenbacher, Alpha Chi Om-
ega, Marjorie Bean, Betsy Barbour,
Joan Reid, Delta Gamma, and Shir-
ley Mattern, Alpha Ch} Omega will
serve on the publicity, posters and
skits and songs committees.
Soph Project will be headed by
Cynthia Coates, Pi Beta Phi, general
chairman. Miss Coates will be as-
sisted by Audrey Lawrence, Alpha
Chi Omega, Pearl Klausner, Sigma
Delta Tau, Julie Benson, Kappa Delta,
Lucille Kennedy, Chi Omega, Marie
Neumeister, Kappa Kappa Gamma,
Carla Mullendor, Pi Beta Phi, Mar-
tha Gilmore, Delta Gamma, Barbara
Busse, 423 South State Street, Nancy

Miss Mattern also presented the
names of junior women who have
been given Junior League Appoint-
ments. The duties of these offices
include assisting the senior mem-
ber in various capacities. Junior!

assistant to the secretary of the
War Council is Judith Rado, Helen
Newberry. The treasurer of the War
Council will be assisted by Alice
Miller, Alpha Phi and Barbara Ray-
mer, Alpha Epsilon Phi. Junior
members of the orientation com-
mittee will be Lois Iverson, Alpha
Delta Pi, Nancy Marsh, Martha
Cook, Maureen Ryan, 1601 Wash-
tena, and Joan Wilk, Alpha Epsi-
lon Phi.
Natalie McGuire, Chi Omega, will
work on the Transfer Orientation
Committee. Assistants on the Merit-
Tutorial Committee will be Ruth Mc-
Guiggan, Alpha Chi Omega, Alice
Sackehiem, Stockwell, Florence
Kingsbury, Gamma Phi Beta and
Carolyn Daley, Day House. Assist-
ants on the Service Committee will

The sophomore coeds are swing-
ing out with plans for their Soph
Music Bar which will be held from
7:30 p. m. to midnight (EWT) Satur-
day, May 19 in the League.I
All sophomore women working on
committees for the 1945 Soph Caba-
ret are asked to watch this column
for official notices concerning meet-
ings for the various committees.
There will be a meeting of the
singing chorus of the stage show at
3 p.m. EWT (2 p. m. CWT) today in
the League. The room will be posted
on the League bulletin board. All
chorus members must attend.
The decorations committee will
meet at 4 p. m. EWT today in the
League. The meeting is compulsory
and the room will be posted. Cos-
tume committee members are asked
to report at 2 p. m. EWT today in
the old JGP room.
The refreshment committee and
the ManhattanmSerenade chorus will
meet at 3 p. m. (EWT) today. Both
rooms will be posted. Members of
the mock band and the kick chorus
will have meetings at 4 p. m. (EWT)
today. The respective rooms will be
posted.
There will be a meeting of the cen-
tral committee of the Cabaret at 3
p. m. (EWT) tomorrow in the League.
All members must be present.
Senior Ball Tickets
Now on Sale at Union
Tickets for the all-campus for-
mal Senior Ball to be held June 1
in the I-M Building will be on sale
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at the
Union Travel desk.
Ticket booths will be set up in
the West Quadrangle later in the
week.
