CHINESE SYMPOSIUM: Dr.Huang To Discuss Medical Conditions in China Tuesday Medical conditions in China will be the topic of the third symposium on China to be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the International Center. The speaker at the symposium will be Dr. C. S. Huang of the department of thoracic surgery in the University Hospital. Dr. Huang was born in China and was graduated from the Peiping Union Medical College, which is supported by the Rockefeller Foun- dation. He has had many years of medical experience in China, having been a nember of the Peiping Union Medical College staff for a number of years and also served on the staff of a hospital in Shanghai. After his work here is completed Dr. Huang expects to return to China. Guest chairman for the evening will be Dr. Charles L. Pannabecker of the Department of Ophthalmol- ogy. He has had 15 years of medical experience in China and returned to the United States in September, 1941. He was in a town in north China near Peiping before leaving the coun- try. In announcing the symposium, Dr. Esson M. Gale, director of the Inter- national Center, said that it would probably be of interest to both people interested in China and to medical students on campus for, he said, almost all types of medical problems can be found in China. i SEND A GREETING CARD TO YOUR MOTHER In just one more week, on May 14th, the American mothers' great Red Letter day will be here! Today, in a world full of hatred and destruction the small, endearing signs of love mean more than ever before. Take a minute off and stop in at our store. FRANC ISCO-BOYCE PHOTO CO.
