Vell-Dressed Effect Every woman has had the experi- ence of passing another on the street and sighing to herself, "I wish I could look as well dressed as she," or, "I hope I create as good an impression as that woman." Too often she ne- glects to take into consideration the fact that accessories play a major part in the wardrobe of each woman. The most expensive suit, the smoothest date dress can be com- pletely ineffective unless it is set off by the correct combination of hat, shoes, gloves and bag. The price of clothes does not necessarily indicate the smartness; rather conservatism might be used as the password to a successful wardrobe. The suit shown above would not appear as chick unless it were com- bined with the proper accessories. The veiled hat gives it the proper dressy effecc that makes it suitable for your weekend visit to your "spe-, cial"man in the service or for tea dancing in town.
