Monday, November 2. Interviewing will take place from 3:30 until 5:30 p. m. Tues- day, Thursday, and Friday of next week. In keeping with the League's policy of "All Out for War," junior women, as well as sophomores and freshmen, have chosen to abandon their annual entertainment project for war service work. They will have for their job the responsibility for the sale of war bonds and stamps. Typical of the change in attitude of university women accompanying the change of times, the Junior Girls' Play, a tradition at Michigan ever since the first production in 1902. will be omitted this year. Fifteen positions on the new and important class project committee are open to eligible junior women. They include: general chairman, assistant chairman, chairman of dormitories, sororities, cooperative houses, league houses, and Ann Arbor Independents, secretary, treasure, research chair- man, chairman of songs and lim- ericks, chairman of posters, slogans and publicity, chairman of skits, chairman of the stamp booth on the corner of N. University and State Streets, and corsage chairman. Appointments to the committee will be made through the League Council, following the interviews next week by Judiciary committee. Union Formal Limits Ticket Sale To 350 Tickets for the Union Formal, which will be held November 6 at the Union Ballroom, will remain on sale the rest of this week and next week, and may be purchased at the Union, the League, of from any com- mittee member. "There are only 350 tickets avail- able. Consequently, anyone planning on attending the dance should pur- chase their tickets at the earliest possible convenience," Arthur Geib, '44E, ticket chairman, urged. The Union Formal is an all-campus function, and may be attended by everyone regardless of class, school, or affiliation. Traditionally the first formal of the year, this dance will open the social calendar for the year. Thomas Muzik, a botany student of the University, recently left the States to take over the position of junior planter for the Firestone Plantations Co. in Liberia. At the time of his placement Muzik was studying for an advanced degree 'at the University Biological Station. Eleanor Porter, '45, Alpha Gamma Delta, has been appointed a junior editor for the Michiganensian, re- placing Mel Englehart, who has left school.
