H E R O' S R E W A R D-Heroism displayed by Pvt. Frederick
Gislain of Merced, Calif., who pulled a drowning fellow trooper
out-of a lake at midnight, despite danger from the horse's hoofs,
brought him a citation by Lt. Col. Frederick Herr of the 11th
Cavalry at Campo, Calif. Gislain also brought out the horse.
