A small ceremony, to which rela- tives and close friends of the couple were invited, was held in the after- noon. The bride wore a beige wool costumbe suit, trimmed with beaver and brown accessories. Frances Men- delson, '41, was maid of honor and Mrs. Wiesner's brother was best man. While at the University, Mrs. Wies- 'ner was president of the League House group, orientation adviser, treasurer of Assembly and a member ef Senior Society. Mr. Wiesner, al- go a graduate of the University, was n instructor in the department of >pegch and chief engineer of the radio department. The couple will live inWashington, b.C., where Mr. Wiesner holds the Sositon of chief engineer of the $honoduplication department of the ibrary of Congress. Kaphan-Wallace Vows Said Norma Kaphan, '41, daughter of 2r, and Mrs. Ludwig Kaphan of New Fork City, was married to Mr. Myron Wallace, '39, son of Mr. and Mrs. d'rank Wallace of Boston, Mass., Aug. 27 at Louis Sherry's in New York. . Mrs. Wallace, a member of Al- lha Epsilon Phi, was a junior night editor of The Daily and publicity chairman of WAA and Theatre Arts. After a honeymoon to Cape Cod, he couple will live in Detroit. Mr. Wallace is a radio announcer for Station WXYZ. Mrs. Wallace will ifinish her schooling at Wayne Uni- Wersity. Frances Bonisteel Weds Frances Bonisteel, 40, daughter of lr. and Mrs. Roscoe O. Bonisteel of MAnn Arbor, was married to Dr. Willis Allan Fisher of Buffalo, N.Y., son of MNr. and Mrs. Willis R. Fisher, Sept. 7. .Mrs. Fisher is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Dr. Fisher, also a former University student, received his doctor's degree last year. He is affiliatted with Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Beta Kappa, Alpha Chi Sigma, Phi Iambda Upsilon and Sigma Xi honor- ary societies. Mr. and Mrs. William R. Pike of Ann Arbor announced the engage- mnent of their daughter, Janet to Jack 'C. Shoo, of Washington, D.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Shoo of Little Rock, Ark., on Sept. 3. Reeder, '35, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Reeder of Iron River and Dr. Ralph R. Cooper, '37M, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Cooper of Detroit were married Aug. 31 in the chapel of the Michi- gan League. Mrs. Cooper is a medical technolo- gist at Eloise Hospital. Dr. Cooper, an instructor in internal medicine in the University Hospital, is affiliated with Trigon club, Alpha Omega Al- pha and Phi Beta Kappa. Mrs. William Connellan of Grosse Ile announced the engagement of her daughter, Dorothy Catherine, a former student at the University, to W. H. George Shaller, '41D, son of Dr. and Mrs. George J. Shaller of Hickory Island and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Sept. 4. Miss Connellan is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and Mr. Shaller is affiliated with Delta Sigma Delta. Berg of Stoughton, Wis. Mr. Berg will continue his studies toward his doctorate while serving as a teaching fellow in the department of zoology. Norton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Norton of Ludington, took place Aug. 24. Mrs. Norton received her master's degree from the University in 1938.
