GIANT AIRLINER CRASHES NEAR CHICAGO AIRPORT - Here is a view of the shattered wreckage of a United Air Lines transport plane which crashed into a vacant lot a block and a half from the municipal air port in Chicago. One wing was partly sheared off and the nose was pushed back into the fuselage by the force of the crash. Sixteen persons, includin g the crew of three, were aboard the plane, inbound from New York.
