Interview- ing of those who have petitioned will take place March 11 to 14., Positions open in League work for next year include the officerships: president, secretary and treasurer, whose duties include those of chief executive, correspondence work and the handling of the Council funds respectively;. and two vice-presiden- cies of the tutorial system and, orien- tation. The duties of these offices in- lude the management of the group I acting as tutors to students desiring help with their class work, and the running of the fall and winter orien- tation programs for freshmen and transfer students. In addition, five committee chair- manships will be open; of the social committee which handles such func- tions as the Ruthven teas and style shows; the Theatre-Arts Committee in charge- of the productions of the Children's Theatre; the dance class committee which handles the begin- ning and advanced ballroom classes3 each semester; the candy booth com- mittee which runs the dormitory and University Hall sales booths; and she merit system committee in charge of the tabulation of League points for women working in the system. Three members of the 1941-42 Ju- diciary Council will be selected from among the petitioners. Sophomores may petition for the two junior po- sitions while juniors may petition for the single senior job.
