The guest editors were chosen from among the participants in a national contest for college women on the basis of a series of assignments deal- ing with fashion, features, and origi- nal suggestions for the magazine. The duties of the guest editors will consist in taking over much of the actual work of the regular staff of the magazine for the one issue, thereby gaining considerable prac- tical experience. Miss Crump, a member of Alpha Phi, is the second Michigan student to be so honored by the'publication with a guest editorship, for Helen Barnett, '41, a member of Pi Beta Phi, served in that capacity last year. Former fashion editor of The Daily, Miss Crump has. recently been ap- pointed to the position of senior as- sociate editor of the Gargoyle. She was also active in publications as a junior night editor on the women's staff last summer, and has now been selected to be the editor of the new League paper. CORRECTION Carol Pitcher, '43, was the win- ner of second place in the Univer- sity Women's open event of Crop and Saddle's Horse Show held last Saturday, rather than Jane Prit- chard, '44, as was stated in sun- day's Daily.
