JUSSI BJOERLING

The Sixty-First Annual Choral Union Series will present three world-renowned singers:
Kirsten Flagstad, soprano; Jussi Bjoerling, tenor; and Alexander Kipnis, bass. Two vio-
linists will appear: Fritz Kreisler and Robert Virovai. Three recitals by pianists will be
included: Sergei Rachmaninoff, Arthur Rubinstein, and the two-piano tearn of Bartlett
and Robertson. Two renowned o'rchestras will participate: The New York Philharmonic-
Symphony under John Barbirolli, and the Boston Symphony conducted by Serge Kous-
sevi tzky.

well qualified to carry on the high traditions of the.
past Chorale Union Series.
