For Sixth InterfraternityBallNov. 4' J Nile green, silver and wine red will be the color scheme for decorations at the sixth annual Interfraternity Ball, to be held from 9 to 1 p.m., Friday, ,Nov. 4, in the Intramural Building, Robert Goldman, '40 and Benjs(min Jones, '40, chairmen of decorations, have announced. The sidewalls will be covered with an eggshell curtain. Near the ceiling will be a pleated silver metallic val- -ance. At intervals there will be a panel of silver satin with red velours drap- eries on either side. At the base of each of the panels will be a semi- circular base of silver board with a boxwood hedge. Floodlights will illum- inate each of the silver panels. Bands To Form 'V' A curtain will,,, cut off the section' of the floor not used for dancing. In the center of this curtain will be' placed the orchestra platform. The two bands, Jack Denny and Orrin Tucker, will be in a "V" formation, facing the audience and each other. Directly behind the platform will hang a silver metallic curtain lighted from the floor. On either side of the curtain there will be red velours draperies. A panel of the same material in the center will have a large IFC emblem. Fraternity letters will be placed at intervals along the sidewalls. Chairs 'will be lined along the wall, and fraternity members, it is planned, will gather between dances under their emblems. Nile green valances will be draped from each of the ceiling girders, in rows across the ceiling.
