No Assistance Needed
Maya Gruhzit, '41, program chair-
man, announced yesterday that be-
cause of a limited amount of work,
she will not require the assistance of
a committee. Those who petitioned
for the program committee are re-
quested to transfer to another com-
mittee.
There will be a meeting of the ticket
committee at 4 p.m. Monday, in the
undergraduate office of the League.

Meeting For Participants
Will Be Held March 1
A committee has been appointed to
organize the procedure for the Intra-
mural Debates, to begin soon under
the sponsorship of the League, Betty

Bricker, '40, co-chairman of the de-
bates, announced yesterday.
Elizabeth Shaw, '41, has been chos-
en for Betsy Barbour; Jane Dunbar,
'40, for Helen Newberry; Martha
Essig, '41, for Martha Cook; Janet
Roemhild, '40, for Jordan Hall; Mary
Frances Browne, '39, for Mosher
Hall; Merida Hobart, SpecEd, for
the Ann Arbor Independents; Fifi
Angelson, '41, for the League Houses;
and Helen Brady, '40, for the sorori-
ties.
There will be a mass meeting for
all women interested in participating
in the debates at 5 p.m. Wednesday,
March 1, in Room 3209 Angell Hall.
At this meeting all teams, of two
members each, will be given the af-
firmative or the negative of the ques-
tion for debate: "Resolved that qol-
legiate athletics should be subsidized."
The committee, headed by Miss
Bricker, will be in charge of the or-
ganization of the intramural debate
series. They will contact different
campus organizations to secure the
names of the debaters on each team.
All women wishing to enter the de-
bate contest should give their names
to any of the committee members
before the mass meeting on March 1.

Members of the medical school
faculty will see themselves as medics
see them in the theme of decorations
for Caduceus Ball from 9 p.m. to 1
a.m. Tuesday in the Union Ballroom.
Black-and-white pencil sketches of
Disney creations on placards will be
suspended around the walls, named
for the professors they characterize.
There will be Ferdinand, the Torea-
lor and the Bumblebee; Mickey
Mouse, Pluto and Donald Duck; the
