LONG When your car hit9 a police car,1 you may well expect to begin work the next day on a big pile of rocks but if it happens -to be ;he car of a chief of police of a city in Germany, have no, fear. This is the written advice of Prof. Raleigh Schorling of the School of Education who is now on leave of absence and is traveling with his family in Germany. Professor Schorling was o his way to the mountains of Bavaria, Austria and Italy and as he approached Wit- tenburg,: just before he came to the. famous church of Martin Luther where: Melanthon is buried, he slid' on the ice road and crashed head on into'a big, fast-moving Mercedes- Benz, damaging both cars badly. The chauffeur was a policeman and the occupant the Wittenbrg chief of po- lice. But instead of being arrested the man stepped out and said, "And where are you going with this fine family." When he learned he had a wrecking crew sent out immediately and sent the family to a restaurant. In a very short time the car had been repaired; LAUNDRY LAUNDRY. 2-1044 Sox darned.
